This year, I have been making clay earrings, clay beads, and pots with my mom. I got the clay from my Aunt Christine and Uncle DJ on Christmas. I was excited to find clay in the package!
I hardly have any clay left because I used most of it for pots. I only have green and a little bit of silver to make things with! Instead of making pots, I'm going to make sculptures out of the green and silver clay.To make pots, I usually use two colors, as you can see in the picture above. I roll the clay out like a snake, and then put the two colors next to each other. I start coiling the clay and then when I want to make it go higher for the walls, I put the snakes on top of each other in a circle.

Looks like you've been pretty busy with that clay, Samantha. You need a new supply of it, huh? That's a good way to use your time in the house when it's freezing cold outside, isn't it?

It was fun seeing the pictures of what you made with your clay after you talked about it on the phone. The beads are so pretty, and I was wondering if you could use the pots for playing with your dolls. Are they the right size for that? Tell Connor I like the bracelet he made, too! Love, GramE(heart)
